ForHer
“Rooh se behti hui dhun ye ishare de, Kuch mere raaz tere raaz aawara se. Kho gaye hum kahan, Rangon sa ye jahan..."
This song has been on almost everyone’s playlist, a soulful composition beautifully sung by Jasleen Kaur Royal and Prateek Kuhad. And what if we tell you that one of them is coming to Delhi for a live performance? Yes, that’s right! Prateek Kuhad is coming to Delhi on 17th March and will be playing live for all of us at “ForHer” event organised by Be Good Tribe. For those who don’t about Prateek Kuhad, have you been living under a rock? Just kidding! Here’s a brief introduction about him, rest you’ll get to know when you attend the event, and trust me it’s worth it!
Born and raised in Jaipur, Prateek is a Delhi based singer and songwriter and is specially known for his bilingual music. He has sung some amazing songs, not just in Hindi but also in English. Not to forget that he won “Best Indian Act” in the EMAs 2016 for his song “Oh Love” which was also on the Vh1 top 10 list for a few weeks!
What makes him so special is his way his songs create an atmosphere of peace and brings a strange calmness in the minds of the listener, far away from loud and boisterous music which has now taken over the Music Industry.
Oh! Almost forgot to mention! You’re in for a double treat! You don’t have to pay anything to watch him play! *Double Yay!* All you have to do is register on the link provided on their Facebook page.
Now, coming to the event, Be Good Tribe is organizing “ForHer” for you take out some time out of your busy schedule to appreciate each woman in your life. She is at home, she is at your workplace, she is someone you look up to, she is your inspiration, your family, your birth-giver, your everything, your world. Thank her and let her know that you are glad to have her! This is not about validation it's about a small thank you and just about being good. Playing alongside Prateek, we have Tanya Nambiar, a singer / songwriter based in New Delhi. Influenced by various genres, she describes her music as easy listening. Her music is a mix of pop, rock and blues. And I promise she’s going to be amazing as always!
